Easily create unique images for your sublimation designs or DIY projects with this easy photo editing technique to change a background to black & white using Canva.
Import your image into Canva. I am using an image that has a high contrast between the foreground (my flower) and the background. Right click on the image and choose Set image as background.
Click Edit Photo in the top left of the tool bar.
Tap the link that says Adjust:
Click on Select Area and choose Background.
Scroll down to Saturation & slide the bar to the left to -100.
I like to adjust the Contrast as well. I chose 50 but you can play around with the adjustment settings to find the best coloring for your image.
That's it! Wasn't it super easy to change the background color of your color photo to black & white in Canva?!?
